I am thrilled I was able to have Adam from Tail Wags Training come out to California for a solid week of training me and my two boxers. It was an intense week spent on learning more about dog psychology, signs of stress, positive reinforcement and so much more. Adam bonded with my two dogs quickly and they had as much fun as I did. His calm and positive manner won them over immediately. Every day they were ready to learn and experience new things. We worked on a wide variety of situations, both outside on walks and on outings, and inside behavior, with the goal of having healthy, well-mannered, fun-loving dogs that enjoy meeting people and animals. I took pages of notes and have continued working in these areas daily - it's a joy to see the connection click! The only sad part is we have an entire country between us and he can't simply swing by for a visit. I couldn't recommend Tail Wags Training more. Worth every penny, and every minute.

Adam Crotsley Cpdt-ka was the best trainer I've ever had, and we've had a lot of dogs AND trainers. We've had numerous fosters and many resident dogs of our own and I've never made so much progress in such a short amount of time with real struggles with  dog reactivity issues ever. The rescued dogs and the larger breeds are not a problem for him - he takes it in stride, is incredibly knowledgeable and calming to everyone around (especially the Humans, LoL!). I have learned so much and I am very confident now that we will all (the dogs and family members) be able to carry on all the progress we've made in the future without help. If you get a chance to work with Adam, consider yourself lucky - you WILL NOT regret it!

Adam is an incredible trainer and so easy to work with! We needed help with our 2 Rottweiler puppies and he was the most fair pricing BY FAR! We have a toddler at home and he was so accommodating with our schedule and customizing our sessions to include our kids. The dogs loved him and just hung on every word he said. His training was a game changer in our home and we will be calling him again as they grow and need further training. You can tell he does what he does because he genuinely loves dogs. I cannot recommend Adam and Tail Wags enough! In just 6 sessions Adam had both my medium sized girls in the best, most obedient states they have ever been in. He covered potty training, basic commands, heel, loose leash walking, dog and person reactivity, resource guarding, introductions, distraction and patience, and manners. The girls, who were very skittish of people and reactive to other dogs on leash, loved working with Adam and now can ignore passing furry and non-furry friends. He made it fun and rewarding for them while productive and informational for me as an owner. He even was a text away for advice when something with practice and training wasn’t going quite right. Both girls are able to be taken in public and trusted to behave while also being the goofy and high maintenance divas they are at home. Just 3 days after finishing training both girls were taken on a mini vacation to a baseball tournament where I was repeatedly told how great and well mannered or behaved my dogs were. Adam was definitely my saving grace for getting the girls where I needed them and I am forever grateful for his work and dedication to them!”

Rascal completed his training and what a difference we see in him. Adam gave us the tools to continue positive training with results. The best one we learned was recall! Rascal slipped out of the gate last week when my husband was exiting and he was able to call Rascal and he came back and went back into the fenced yard.

10/10 would most definitely recommend and I plan on using again.. The best trainer for my BullyXL (Sweets 🍭).. She’s able to be walked without pulling, enjoys her walks now as she’s able to ignore other dogs, cats and active people.  Way better with jumping on people (she’s only 1.5 years old), more calm when people come in/ out of the house and knows to come sit next to me when she’s getting too excited.

I found Adam on Facebook and used him as a pet sitter a few times. Then I became aware he also trained. My buddy, cooper, was out of control two months ago. It has been a lot of work on Adams part and myself following up, in between. Today, at six years old, he had his first interaction with other dogs. It was amazing.
That is a miracle within itself.

But he does not drag me any longer on our walks, he waits and sits without command.

I told Adam I hired him for the improvement of my life and it has come to fruition times 3.

Adam is gifted in his patience and intuitiveness and knowledge of animals.

I’m thinking as a trainer or a sitter, he will always be in our lives.

If you haven’t given Adam a chance, you really should!  Adam comes with a wealth of knowledge about dogs. He has an extensive medical background in veterinary medicine as well. He’s patient, calm and takes his time. He teaches us humans too!  I saw big changes in my 6 month old pup, Sugar in just 4 lessons. Adam keeps the dogs busy and is quick to notice if they are getting bored and will change things up. He keeps it all positive and upbeat, Sugar loves Adam! We look forward to our lessons!

⭐️ 🐾 Absolutely awesome experience with Adam at Tail Wags Training! 🐾 ⭐️
We worked with Adam to train our 11 year old Coton de Tulear dog Coco and Teddy, our 4 month old  rescued Pomapoo. Adam is extremely professional. He gave us the confidence to lead our little pack with positive reinforcement, taught us all about communicating with our pups through our body language, and showed us how to handle difficult situations with other dogs and sometimes other dog owners. I got Adam's name from my neighbor after just moving to Fl from Wi. Needless to say we needed help w our little puggle,Cali. He helped train my daughter and I so we could teach her how to walk on a leash and not bolt everytime the door opened. He was soo patient and gave us a lot of tips and tricks to help Cali. Definitely would reccomend him and his training to everyone. Cali is changed/trained dog because of him!

My puppy Vera just completed 6 training sessions with Adam Crotsley CPDT-KA, Tail Wags Training, Tailswagstraining.com, 941-483-6157.  Vera had some activities that I felt were not the best for a puppy to have. Adam is everything we needed for our little pup! He met with me and my pup and from the first moment on, he was extremely helpful with explaining how to train my little guy and made it fun and easy! Adam truly loves dogs and goes above and beyond to make an individualized training experience for your pup. Adam is an amazing trainer! A neighbor referred him when we got our Golden Retriever puppy. It’s great to have a trainer who comes to your house and works with you and your dog in every day life. Harry and I worked with Adam on many things starting with the basics and then greeting people on our walks in the neighborhood. We have another Golden named Juno and then we added her to our lessons. I feel like I have learned many tips and skills to have more control of 2 large dogs on walks or in public places. 

It’s not perfect but Harry is only 10 months old now and we are consistently working on it. Adam is so knowledgeable, patient and calm and taught us a lot! I recommend him to anyone with any age of dog!
